Paramonas

This lovely beach is quiet and tranquil even in the summer months and a throwback to the Corfu of twenty or thirty years ago. It is 30 kilometres from Corfu Town and some way from the main road and the nearby village of Agios Mattheos, putting it off the map for most tourists. It is approached through what can only be described as an olive forest, with large, venerable trees dating back 400 years.

The beach itself has two fish tavernas and a small hotel, and provides facilities such as a few sun beds, umbrellas, plus showers and changing booths.
